Nathaly Galaviz

Hi everyone! 

My name is Nathaly, and I’m a third-year nursing student with a minor in psychology. I was born and raised in Colorado, but I proudly embrace my Mexican roots from Chihuahua. I’ve always had a heart for helping others, especially within minority communities like my own, and I hope to make a lasting impact by advocating for more equitable and compassionate care. Outside of school, I love hiking and spending time in nature. It’s where I feel most grounded and at peace. I also love playing volleyball as it is one of my favorite hobbies. Nursing is truly my passion, and I can’t wait to see how it allows me to grow, serve others, and give back to the communities that shaped me. As Saint Ignatius of Loyola said, “Go forth and set the world on fire,” and that’s exactly what I plan to do.
